Sheila's Brushdrops

The day after St Patrick's Day is known hereabouts as Sheila's Day, and it is associated traditionally with a snowstorm, named Sheila's Brush. Sheila's Day is not usually as warm as it got in our part of town today -- in the shade under our deck it was 19 degrees (that's like 66F), well above the average high for the date of about 5 degrees. And that was well appreciated by all in town.

Given the continued lack of frost, plus two days of some sun in a row, our snowdrops are looking even more perky than yesterday.
