It lived through difficult periods, was rebuilt and today is a must-visit place.
In February 1908, the plans were closed and the works ready to move forward, momentarily halted by the assassination of King D. Carlos and the crown prince. A month after the attack that shook the country, the first stones were laid in Vidago.
