Es handelt es sich um einen kleinen Nachtfalter mit einer Flügelspannweite von etwa 16 bis 25 mm,die Vorderflügel sind charakteristisch silbrig-weiß und mit fünf Längsreihen winziger, schwarzer Punkte übersät.Wenn der Falter sitzt, rollt er seine Flügel eng an den Körper,die Falter fliegen im Hochsommer (Juli bis August)!!

Il s'agit d'un petit papillon de nuit dont l'envergure est d'environ 16 à 25 mm. Ses ailes antérieures sont d'un blanc argenté caractéristique et ornées de cinq rangées longitudinales de minuscules points noirs. Lorsqu'il se pose, il enroule ses ailes contre son corps. Ce papillon vole en plein été (de juillet à août).
