Calm across the Bay

The tide has turned leaving calm water on a hot day, this is Quay West adjacent to the harbour,on the Bristol Channel Coast at Minehead in Somerset, the large white building on the sandy and popular section of the bay is a part of a major holiday complex,

Maybe worth a large view! Thank you and have a nice week!

A beautiful stillness..with the white complex offering a glimpse of a much busier reality in the distance! It works beautifully as an image, Roger.

A beautiful calm harbour scene, Roger. The large white complex looks like a giant tent.

I recognised the "tent" as a Butlin's one immediately.......it's identical to the one at Bognor Regis ;-)

I love your composition here Roger.......mooring rope makes a good leading line and the red buoy draws the eye nicely........as do the white "tents" in the background. Lovely light too and beautiful blue tones in the water.

The boats add some great interest, especially when viewed large. The detail is excellent.
