What a place it is always changing but often its only is it light or heavy rain. I remember seeing the river like this but in such foul weather it wasn’t worth getting out of the car. I can also remember it almost dry one very hot summer, not sure what year but I think it is on an old instamatic camera square print with my Mum in the foreground. I bet I can find that tomorrow.

Roger (Grisly) replied to Colin Ashcroft:

For me that is a big part of the Glencoe attraction, I like the ever changing light and watching the weather hurry up through the glen to change the mood in seconds,
If you took an image from the same spot for a year, no two would have the same weather that's almost a guarantee .
Nice to have old photos from the past. great memories and good times !

I love the dynamism of the white water, Roger. The textures of the rocks are amazing. And, of course, being Scots, I love the purple heather in the foreground. All the best, Joe
