he Kyle of Tongue Causeway is a 3.8 km (2.4 mile) long roadway that spans the shallow Kyle of Tongue sea loch on the north coast of Sutherland, in the Scottish Highlands. It forms a vital part of the A838 trunk road, connecting the villages of Tongue and Melness, and is a highlight on the North Coast 500 (NC500) scenic driving route.
