West Bower Manor,
A capture from my Panasonic pocket camera, This is West Bower Manor (also known as Durleigh Manor) taken from the western bank of Durleigh Reservoir,
The principal surviving element is a substantial 15th-century gatehouse in Decorated-Perpendicular style, forming the north side of what was once a courtyard house. It features a rectangular plan with an east wing, polygonal turrets added later (with glass bearing initials possibly of Alexander and Margaret Hody), (Grok x)
Large view welcome, ,,,,,,, HWW, to all!
