The Levels. (North)
A Sluice gate which controls a rhyne at its junction with the North Drain,
This is at the northern extreme of the Somerset Levels and Moors which have long been shaped both by human history and natural processes, they have an area of about 160,000 acres (650 km2)
They consist 0f a flat landscape extending across parts of the north and centre of the historical county of Somerset,,,,, Rhyne is a somerset spelling !!
