It may not be dryer but it would certainly be warmer. The day we called in there was continuous drizzle. It should have been an operating day but the loco still hadn't had its 25 year rebuild completed due to having to repair more than anticipated. The boiler was still at a contractor having tubes fitted being the main reason.
