In Ayacucho und Umgebung, hat fast jedes Haus so einen Stier, ein Kreuz, oder sogar eine kleine keramik Kirche auf dem Dach.
Die kleinen Stiere bringen Glück, Schutz und Fruchtbarkeit für alle, die in ihren Häusern leben, und gelten auch als Symbol der andinen Identität.
