The road surface around the roundabout had been re-laid during the previous nights with overnight road closures. New lettering on the surface was now in place although the traffic cones still remained at the roadside.

Quite unexpectedly the coach took the A1065 road off the roundabout rather than the usual A11. It would seem the driver needed to ‘spend a penny’ and made a very short pit-stop at the Shell Service Station. At least he didn’t have to leave the coach by making use of the on board facilities!
