Friday 26 July 2024 (0835) – Coach Services Limited of Thetford YT09 YHK seen on Stand 9 in Bury St. Edmunds when working the 0800 service 84 from Thetford to Bury St. Edmunds (West Suffolk Hospital). in Bury St. Edmunds.

It was rather chaotic here at the time and I don’t think any of the buses were on the stands they were supposed to be due to buses that were between trips unnecessarily occupying loading.stands. This resulted in live departures being ousted to other stands. This service was supposed to load on Stand 2 but was on stand 9 – the furthest away from where it should have been.

It is an 86 seat Optare Omnidekka bodied Scania N270UD which had been new to Nottingham City Transport (970) in May 2009. The Omnidekka design originated with East Lancs Coachbuilders passing to Optare in 2008.
