Friday 25 April 1997 - De Lijn, the national bus and tramway company of northern Belgium, was created in 1991 from the northern part of NMVB (Nationale Maatschappij van Buurtspoorwegen).

DAF powered Van Hool AG500 articulated integral 3363 (GSE 678), new in September 1996, seen at the garage in Oostende on driver training duties. It carries a ‘Rijschool’ sign on the rear.
