De Lijn garage at Oostende - 25 April 1997
Friday 25 April 1997 - De Lijn, the national bus and tramway company of northern Belgium, was created in 1991 from the northern part of NMVB (Nationale Maatschappij van Buurtspoorwegen).
A De Lijn Peugeot estate car and two DAF powered Van Hool AG500 articulated integral models are seen parked at the garage in Oostende. Both were new in September 1996. On the left is 3362 (GSE 675) and on the right is 3363 (GSE 678). The latter had been on driver training duties and carried a ‘Rijschool’ sign on the rear.
