Tay Estuary

This is the south shore of the River Tay estuary heading westward from Balmerino. There is a delightful strip of broad leaved trees along this bank that is part of the Fife Coastal path. It was a lovely day to visit here.

I've not yet been to this part of the Fife coast. maybe that state of affairs will be remedies in September when we go 'home' for a few days.

Chris Bowness replied to Amelia:

Thanks Amelia. I would highly recommend it as the trees are mature and it's a beautiful walk. I recommend a visit to Balmerino Abbey when you are there. It has an ancient Spanish chestnut tree that is massive and old. A thing of beauty.
