Misty Moments - For World Photography Day

16.9 format so I would apppreciate it if you would view large

Captured at North Drain on the Somerset Levels on a murky day with mist in the trees and fields in the background , and the unsettled weather turning to wind and rain as I tried to photograph this family of swans. Dad seems to be keeping watch as Mum's brood gather around her on the left of the image.

The unsettled mood in this image echoes, I feel, the unsettled times we are currently facing.

Crikey, Carol. That is beautiful. Enlarged it is even better. It may have been foul weather but you've overcome any difficulties and, as you say, the swans don't care about the rain. Thank you very much Diana. Yes it is difficult to be optimistic in these times but somehow it feels good to step back sometimes and enjoy what is around us. When I think of some of the place you visit where life is harsh and yet the people still smile and enjoy what they have, and enjoy sharing those times with you.
