I don't know this breed but it's well named!!
Looking at the rock behind, my big toes are jumping up and down in my slippers! I'm itching to get back into the mountains again!
I think these are the Valais blacknose breed, they were mentioned on a TV program recently as being virtually unknown outside Switzerland. Apparently, they are becoming very popular here and they estimate there are around 400 or so of them in the UK.
A lovely image Thérèse and it's sad to think that their numbers are declining in their country of origin :-(
