People thought you were odd if you didn’t smoke. We smoked at work, smoked in meetings…we were nurses….

True - and we smoked at the doctor's and dentist's waiting rooms, in grocery aisles, in a hospital bed, in movie theaters, anywhere. I guess the only places we couldn't smoke were church and our grandma's house. I remember smoking in college classrooms. The life-drawing classes were the most fun to smoke in.
