A sort of lost masterpiece?!

I doubt it will be a short wait for the other shoe to drop. "The Sole Sole." This picture has so much of interest. The deep cracks. The horseshoe-like heel. I wonder at the various places this shoe must have visited. While not at all a "happy" picture, there is something joyful in having (perhaps) the shoe's final resting place.
