Loch Cainaird

The waters of the loch lap gently on the pebbly beach of Loch Cainaird at Ardmair, producing that soporific effect that comes from waves on pebbles.

The headland is Ardmair Point and to the left of the image is the A835 road which forms a part of the "North Coast 500",

A quiet and peaceful location Roger, by the look of it. I like the curves of the waters edge and the pebbles and the hill in the background is very impressive.

An excellent capture!

Roger (Grisly) replied to Keith Burton:

Many thanks Keith, appreciated as always, the beach is quite steep, and the hill is a headland,
The foreshore is more attractive than shows in my image.
