Lumber on the quayside at Ardrishaig on Loch Gilp, The timber storage area is being filled ready for a Timber Link Ship
A busy day will catch up later!
The TimberLINK service ships up to 100,000 tonnes of timber a year which avoids around 8,000 lorry journeys – or nearly 1 million lorry miles – from roads between Argyll and Ayrshire. To date, since 2000, the Timber LINK service has shipped 2,115,233 tonnes of timber, which has avoided 21,471,641 lorry miles,

A very nice picture, which I like very much!
Wonderful and interesting composition
Great colours.
I also wonder, since wood floats, why use a ship, why not bundle it all together into one big floating mass...
Best Wishes, HFF, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!
