Basilika San Ġorġ

Die barocke Basilika San Ġorġ (St. Georg) ist neben der Kathedrale die bedeutendste Kirche in Gozos Hauptstadt Victoria / Ir-Rabat Għawdex.
Am Karfreitag haben sich die Einheimischen vor der großen Karfreitagsprozession in den Bars getroffen.

Beautiful architectural images Gudrun........captured in lovely sunshine. I love the colour of the stonework. I especially like the close up of the bell tower and the interior shot is stunning!

I don't go to church, but I would be quite happy to attend the wine bar :-)))
