The small (5m high) coastal lighthouse at Fuglenesodden, Hammerfest, was established in 1859 and active until 1911 when it was replaced by an automated light. It is part of the Fuglenesodden Outdoor Museum.
The building on the right is not an outhouse but the oljehuset (oil house), used for storing the paraffin needed to operate the lighthouse.

The little light house and the red oil house stand out on the moss of the rocks and the blue of the ocean.
