A great portrait and sunflower composition, Christel. With the flower though, this really does come out best with full colour.

He looks a bit startled Christel.......you obviously caught him by surprised, but I love the expression on his face and your focus on his eyes is spot on. A lovely sunflower too, which stands out nicely in this colour version.........which is my favourite of your two shots.

A sunflower should always stay in colour – it’s concentrated sun energy. The shot may not be perfect, but it is the sort of image that women will happily give stars to.

Christel, I'm leaning toward the color version here. While the colors do reduce the dramatic impact of the black-and-white portrait a bit, the color contrasts are beautiful and make the portrait very appealing!
