That was exceptionally snowy time of winter in southern Finland. We were lucky to have it during our holiday visit at Suomenlinna.

Up north there are of course a lot more snow, and winter much longer, and also much darker =D

I have lived several years in Rovaniemi, and spent one winter also at Inari.

But then as a counterbalance there are the summers when sun hardly setting at all.
