The island Herreninsel (aka "Herrenchiemsee") is the main tourist attraction, as Bavarian King Ludwig II (the "Swan King") had a palace built o the island, which was never completed. The palace was meant to be a replica of the Palace of Versailles, in France. I did not disembark here, but wtached the tourist coming back from the palace.
