HBM Stone Greenhithe Kent 19th August 2026
Park Lane, a bench and Ihe Waterstone Park Obelisk.
The monument celebrates a son of Greenhithe, Sir Erasmus Wilson (1809 - 1894), a renowned Dermatologist & philanthropist. It is described thus :-
"The 15ft sculpture erected in 2007 has been meticulously made from over 13,000 individual pieces of recycled glass taken from the river Thames foreshore at Greenhithe. The glass comes from the remains of old factories and wharves that at one time lined the river. The length of time the glass has been in the river results in each piece of glass possessing a unique translucence. At night the glass sculpture is lit by Low Energy Diodes".
HBM to everyone. Have a great start to the new week.

I see that your iPhone has taken over from your DSLR. You obviously believe that its handiness and delivered output ourweights all else. - I too covet the Pro versions a few models up to my IPhone 12 as I know that the extra long lens would be very handy indeed on there. Costing similar to a decent new DSLR I ask myself if that longer lens is really worth that much? The other differences between my 12 and your 17 certainly would not make it so. -Oh to have enough funds that it would not matter!
HBM, enjoy the week. Herb
