We took the HSB train up the Brocken in heatwave conditions last week. This view is from the summit at 1141m.

Because of the fire risk all trains were diesel-hauled so no dramatic climbing but impressive all the same. Unfortunately in the left distance a wildfire has broken out leaving a trail of smoke across the horizon. See PiP.
