The view looking east over the Soar Valley from Beacon Hill. The town of Loughborough sits in the valley.

Pre-Cambrian metamorphosed volcanics in the foreground with Jurassic sandstones & clays on the horizon.

Thanks & yes I worked as a geologist then a geophysicist in the oil industry for 45 years. If you're like me you can't just look at a landscape without wanting to know what's beneath the surface!
