Shakespeare Express Birmingham Snow Hill 1st August 2010

The Shakespeare Express is a regular summer season, steam-hauled, service between Birmingham Snow Hill and Stratford-upon-Avon operated by Vintage Trains using Tyseley's locomotives. Great Western Railway Hall 4-6-0 4965 Rood Ashton Hall is seen at Snow Hill. The modern concrete station is not very fitting!

HFF and have a great weekend.

Hi Pete

A very nice picture, of a very shiny locomotive!
I have never been to Snow Hill before, so a nice surprise view for me here. Not what I expected!

Best Wishes, HFF, a nice weekend, and stay safe!!

Thanks Peter. The old Snow Hill was much more impressive - no concrete!

You are right, this gorgeous vintage train deserves a better station!
You really caught the sheen on its very well maintained metal body.

HFF!
