Polychromatic

by tarboat
I do love to see polychromatic brickwork in houses and Bangor, North Wales, has several nice examples. Terraces of two separate builds join at this point on Holyhead Road. I particularly like the extension of the decoration to the chimney stack on the row to the right. Examination of the walls suggests that the cream bricks were produced by the North & South Buckley Colliery, Brick & Tile Co Ltd.

I agree, it's a comparatively small task in building and yet adds interesting patterns and colors to the cityscape.
