Wow so that's a Bronze Age tomb. What a great place to have one - with a view of the sea - mind you with erosion since it was built - I should think it was probably about 3 miles away at the time it was built!!!

Probably just like this even then, Jenny . I suspect this is about 4,000 years old (give or take) and the main coastal changes would have been over by about 7,000 years ago.
Of course, isostatic readjustment is still going on but at a less relentless pace.
