The camera has an interesting history - though not corroborated. I was told by the vendor that it was used to take the photographs of the surrender of the Japanese in the Philippines in 1945, by a captain in the US Army Information Corps, who had been a friend of the vendor.
I have no reason to disbelieve this, but of course, no way of confirming it either, but it makes the old girl just a bit special !!
