Lethal beauty. Smashed trees everywhere....alot of mess to clear up. Its beautiful to look at... but brings such sadness

This one probably will recover Peggy... not so the one next to it.... half of it is ripped off.

We get the straightline winds and the tornadoes and the fires too.

Peggy in the comment above was talking about when she was living in Florida that damage was caused by other things.

A common site here as well. Some of the branches haven't snapped...just drooped to the ground. Hopefully they will straighten when the ice melts.

Jim... interestingly the older heavier Pine trees fared better than the younger ones. That isnt to say they were unscathed.. but they had less damage. However the Black Jack Oaks and the Post Oaks suffered. Their wood is as heavy as Ebony and just as dense.. but not supple.
