I have always been interested in fossilized remains of ancient life. That interest also applies to old architectural design elements.
San Francisco still retains some dated architecture in splendid shape. Like ancient life where scaly fish crawled out of the sea to eventually over time become modern creatures, the early Victorian designs evolved from scaly façades to the sleek steel and glass skyscrapers that pierce the horizon today.

This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera with a Kowa 1:4/40mm lens and Fotasy Pro-1-D Wide Band Pro MC UV(W) 95mm Japan filter using CineStill 50D film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
