This fenced high altitude pasture is a seasonal grazing area for cattle.

This photo was taken by a Yashica Electro 35CC film camera and COLOR-YASHINON DX 1:1.8 f=35mm lens with a Pro 52mm (UV) Japan filter using Kodak 135 Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 (6200dpi) and digitally rendered with Photoshop.

This part of Zion National Park (Kolob Terrace) features outcrops and canyons of cross-bedded sandstone. You haven't seen my cows, have you?

The ranchers regularly "drop off" bales of hay to these seasonal pastures for the cattle.
