While the shoppers purchase items in the stores, I sat on a bench and loaded more film into my camera!

So how are you celebrating the 4th of July, Scott? With a camera in your hands? I hope so!

Scott Holcomb replied to Marta Wojtkowska:

As a matter of fact, yes! I brought along my Kowa Super 66 up to The Napa Valley Wine country on a tour that I was directing. While the clients tasted wine and dined in restaurants, I happily wandered around finding interesting things to photograph.
I wish the people of Ukraine could have such leisurely activities. Although things are far from perfect in the USA, I know that I am fortunate to be away from war.

Scott Holcomb replied to Marta Wojtkowska:

America's problem with guns perplexes me. The gun industry along with support from a "conservative" Supreme Court has a large part of the population paranoid of their shadows and armed with deadly weapons. Each mass shooting is an advertisement for the gun industry that love$ the surge in sales (at the expense of innocent lives). The argument is that the vast majority of gun owners legally own them for personal protection and sport. The achilles heel is that mentally ill people can and do rampage with random killing sprees on a daily basis. What a nightmare it must be to be a policeman, knowing very well that the citizens they are sworn to protect are likely armed and dangerous!
I like to shoot. I shoot film. If I go insane and lose my mind, firing away with my Kowa/SIX, nobody gets hurt. I do not own a gun.
