Pascal Graulich replied to beverley:

Many thanks, Bev ! You ought to visit Belgium ! I think there are many things more interesting than The F1 "Grand Prix" of Francorchamps. As an example, do you know that Francorchamps is a part of a town called SPA, whose name has become common referring to a kind of bath. (Feel free to correct my bad English when necessary !) ;-)

Indeed I have always hoped that I would visit ... and of course your waterways
is what draws my attention and want to visit for that reason ... old buildings of
character too ... and the people .... ? ;-) well I do not know many people from
Belgium ... only one at flickr ;-) very talented photographer ... and now perhaps
yourself. F1 ... I enjoy very much and always have done ... and always watch
with great enthusiasm ... I like the circuit and how the cars are seen ... as well
as the thrill of the moment ... this goes back a long long time for me ... ;-) and
SPA yes ... indeed a kind of bath and treatment centre maybe ... and your
English is very good indeed ;-))))

Pascal Graulich replied to beverley:

Personally, I'm not fond of F1, but I can understand people like it.
There are some talented Belgian photographers on Flickr ! Look forward ! ;-)
Some old cities of Belgium are worth a visit . Especially Gent, Brugge and Antwerp, in the north part; Brussels, of course (the "Grand Place" is very beautiful). In the south part, cities as Tournai, Mons, Namur and Liege are interesting. In the south part, there are beautiful landscapes (especially the "Ardenne").

I remember once, having visited Amsterdam for the Marathon .... on the way back on the
coach it came through Belgium, but we had no time to stop, only to look out of the window
and enjoy a fleeting view out of the window . . . I hope to return one day to take a good look
around.
