It's the same here in Europe.
Madrid, April 5, snow and hail and storms and winter returns. Multiple pile-ups on the motorway due to snow and ice catching out unsuspecting drivers.
I feel sorry for the fruit farmers, who could lose their entire fruit crop for the third year running due to late frosts, hail and now this.

When I first moved here in 2008, there was snow in May. A couple of years later there was a smattering of snow on July 1st. I kid you not.
