Many of these visit my "bird" feeders every morning. They are so entertaining. BTW, what is a camphor tree?

The University Of FL also has a web page on this invasive tree .. it grows quite large; has a wonderful shade canopy .. but because of being invasive .. no longer is planted [ at least where we lived in Central FL ].
The Arborist who caome ut yearly to be sure out trees were 'hurricane proof' told me these were not allowed to be planted anymore since they took over places Native FL trees grew.
She even found a 'volunteer' growing in the side yard .. "Peggy, I have to remove this before it gets bigger" ... it was within 3 ft of our home - behind a Gardenia bush.
They are beautiful, but----- the roots from next door had extended to under our driveway .... guess the house would be next ! But that tree wasn't on our property ... our neighbor said have any branches cut back that were necessary.
Of course, when we sold the house - -- I made the mistake of going online to see the the photos of the house had been removed yet ............ that tree had been removed; any plantings of the gorgeous Azaleas and Gardenias - removed ....
Those people now live in a house that [ to me ] has no character.
But, at least I don't live there and have to see it.
Sigh -
In my album www.ipernity.com/doc/peggyc/album/422055/@/page:5:18 ----- this was the changes documented as they happened.
