I find it really strange that the telephone kiosk and the postbox are the British designs. Obviously this orginated when Australia was viewed as an appendage of the Empire, but that was such a long time ago. Still, they make for interesting photographs, don't they.

What an absolutely lovely and nostalgic post-office. To have the chance of going to such a post-office I'd even consider sending one or the other picture post-card to friends. And I recognize the mailbox pillar from the previous photo :-)
