Times change!

This part of Melbourne's Yarra River is now known as "Docklands", with apartment buildings and glass towers on both sides. Back in 1965 when I sailed from here to the Antarctic (PiP), it was North Wharf and a very busy shipping and industrial area!

Wishing everyone a Happy Bench Monday and a good week to follow.

Happening all over. London's docklands are now all apartments and offices, too. Like the old photo of the ship.

Same in Paris: the industrial estates along the Seine river disappeared to make room for buildings with apartments. HBM George.
