St Senara's Church

We may have arrived in Zennor too early to visit the pub, but the nearby St Senara's Church invited a visit. On the wall was an old (and much repaired) sundial with the date 1737 (PiP 3) but the church and surrounding cemetery were clearly hundreds of years older.

February weather in the UK was extraordinary this year, as this photo shows. Lovely photos, George, and the cemetery is full ! Good light and shadows.

A pity about the pub but there is usually a church not far away! Well framed and I also like the shadows. So interesting when it is possible to read the old tomb stones, often quite sad. Great PiP's, beautiful in their own right.

What a fine presentation, George. Love the deep shadow on the wall and the wonderful texture of the bricks. Super composition too. Super insets, thank you for telling us all about this place and giving us photos to see...I enjoyed the sun dial but for me, the real show was the glorious long shadows against the rich deep greens in all the other images...HUZZAH!
