Isn't this pretty. Really wonderful viewed large, all of those glorious seaweed details can be appreciated. :) What a lovely beach view too. So warm and inviting on this cold day! I am bundled up in my bed right now and my hands are so cold as I type. :D

Your comments on the government shutdown and the effect on the national parks are about something that raises my blood pressure. Apparently Joshua Tree has suffered more than most with illegal off-roading and the cutting down of the Joshua Trees.
