23/366: Golden Leaf on Pond
We have a seasonal pond that begins to fill in November and finally dries up in late Spring. It has been the source of many pictures and a favorite place for me to visit throughout the seasons. Even when it's just a dry bed, there are interesting images to be found because wildflowers grow there in the rich soil. When the pond is full, the leaves that fall onto the surface and eventually sink make for some dreamy images! I captured this barely submerged leaf and its sunken counterparts at the end of November in 2014.
