When I went out this morning, I saw this poppy just about to open, with its pod casing straining like a suitcase about to explode! I ran into the house! I ran out of the house with my camera! I zoomed over to the poppy...BOOOOOOO!!!!!! I MISSED IT!!! This beautiful poppy JUST opened up and you know, I think I heard it laughing at me! RUDE!!! :D I did get a picture of it just after opening, but it was from the other side, and this one shows another poppy peeking out from the background and adds nice color and balance to the image.
