Originally my brother’s book, but I always loved it. There were some fairly creepy pictures and story lines, but it was still a favorite.
Apparently the author wrote Toby Twirl books from the mid 1940s to the late 1950s. This was the last of the Annuals, (1958) although Toby appeared in other formats.
