Sorry for delay in response. Nearish to Baker St but I'm fairly sure it couldn't have been a bus garage as the street is too narrow. Not sure what it was. I assumed just a workshop of some sort.
I just thought that there's generally a reason for going to the extra expense of building a glass roof so high, it's not economic or practical for most workshops. Must have been to work on something tall that needed good light: if not buses, very tall grandfather clocks ? Fancy gatepiers for a workshop too.
