With this being Mother's Day weekend and Newark, NJ having some of the highest crime rates especially with violent crimes, I thought the themes were fitting. May love prevail so there's no more senseless deaths and needless mourning especially among mothers who lose their children way too soon.

Well said Eric. In this case, I believe demographics played a pivotal role for featuring women of color. And sadly you're right, they're much too often the disproportionate victims of crime and abuse. :( I can only hope the messages resonate to effect positive change.
