Amidst clouds of smoke
And pyroclastic rivers
A new day awakes.

Like the morning dawn
The sky shimmers and glows with
Red luminescence.

Ash coats and lava
From volcanic eruptions
Renew the Earth’s face.

Fuji's sacred fires
That both destroy and create
Sustain life's cycle.
